Claudia holds Master’s Degrees in Architecture (TU in GRAZ, Austria) and Architectural Lighting Design (KTH in Stockholm, Sweden) and has more than 18 years of professional experience in both fields. She has lived and worked in Austria, the United Kingdom and Sweden prior to moving to Tucson, Arizona, USA, which is her home and work base. She is a Certified Lighting Designer (CLD), a Professional Member of the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), is a Member of the Illuminating Engineering Society (MIES), a Member/Mentor of Women in Lighting (WIL) and Member of Women in Science and Engineering (WSTEM), Member of Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture (ANFA) and Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Claudia is lecturing faculty at the University of Arizona College of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture (UArizona CAPLA), inspiring Students from both faculties – the Architecture and Engineering Schools to engage in Lighting.
